PBS Kids Go! Writer’s Contest (SoCal K-3)

Kids love books, museums and animals. So why not writing? Kids are special, let them feel special!

Few things capture a child’s imagination like a good book. That’s why PBS SoCaL is looking for your child’s original stories!

PBS SoCaL encourages Southern California children to create an original story as part of the PBS KIDS GO! Writer’s Contest. Open to kids in grades k-3, each entry must be an original work written and illustrated by the student. Stories can be fact or fiction, prose or poetry and each grade level will be judged separately. First, second, and third place winners will be chosen from each grade and receive prizes locally. First place winners will also be entered in to the national contest.
